DO I NEED TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS AT MY WEDDING?
We will ALWAYS recommend two photographers for your wedding day. We each like to capture moments in our own, unique way and this gives you a diverse set of photos throughout your wedding day. On top of that, having two photographers makes it easier to keep to your wedding day schedule.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE?
We use top of the line Canon gear and make sure we have backups of everything. You can't ever be too prepared for a wedding day!
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
Our online galleries are posted within 90 days of your wedding date. We always aim to be quicker, but we never want to sacrifice the quality of your final product for the sake of speed.
WHAT IS AN ONLINE GALLERY?
Your online gallery is a password protected section of our site where all of your wedding photographs will be placed for you and your family to view and share. We are incredibly proud of the quality of our online gallery. It looks great on your phone too!
WILL YOU HOLD MY DATE FOR ME?
Every wedding we book is on a first come, first serve basis.
HOW DO I BOOK MY WEDDING?
First, connect with us through the 'book now' button above to make sure we are available! If we are available and you feel like what we offer fits your wedding needs, a 50% retainer on your wedding collection is required to reserve your wedding date. We take weddings on a first come, first serve basis.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes we do! For any weddings outside of Central Florida, we charge a fee depending on how far your wedding is from us.
SHOULD WE DO A FIRST LOOK ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Yes yes yes! There are so many benefits to having a first look on your wedding day. First, this gives you more time together as a couple. Instead of only seeing each other for a few hours during your day (surrounded by people), you can have some time alone to enjoy each other and to have pictures taken. This frees up time after your ceremony as well. Once we are done with your family portraits you can have some time to relax before the reception, take care of any last minute photos that had to be pushed back, or even enjoy part of your cocktail hour with your friends & family!
CAN I PROVIDE YOU WITH A "SHOT LIST?
We will ask you for a list (with names!) for your family formal photos. This helps your family portraits go by quickly and efficiently! Other than that, we prefer that you allow us to do what we do best: be creative! Generally, anything you have on your list we will capture anyways. If you have something out of the ordinary or something that's extra special to you, we would love to know about it!
WHAT IS AN "UNPLUGGED CEREMONY?"
We often go through our images and see more cameras, phones, and iPads than we see faces during a ceremony. Sometimes people are so focused on making sure they capture a moment on their phone that they forget to live in and enjoy that moment. This is why we suggest an "unplugged ceremony." This is where you ask family and friends to turn off phones and cameras and just enjoy the day. We promise to get great photos that they can see once they're ready! Also, an unplugged ceremony keeps friends and family from blocking our shots during the ceremony. Trust us, we've had a few uncle Bobs stand in the middle of the aisle to get that kissing shot. We doubt it was any better than what we captured. :)
CAN I SHARE MY PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Please do! Pretty much all of our business is from word of mouth. When you share your photos with your friends and family, it gives them the opportunity to see our work and tell others about us. We wouldn't be mad if you gave us some credit either ;) We do ask that you refrain from adding any fancy filters onto your images though!
DO YOU BACK UP MY WEDDING PHOTOS?
Well, this question isn't asked much, but if there is anything you should ask a photographer- it's this! There are no do-overs when it comes to wedding photography. You've invested your time, money, and heart into your wedding day. You need to know if your photographer is serious about how your wedding photos are handled. Us? We back up your images AS WE PHOTOGRAPH. Our cameras write to two memory cards at the same time for an extra layer of protection of your images. Once we get home, the very first thing we do is import all of your photos to our computers. As we do this, your photos are instantly backed up to two external hard drives as well as a cloud based back up service that we use.
